Recently, German-invested enterprises in Taicang city, Jiangsu Province have reached 109 with total investment exceeding USD800m, accounting for 1/10 of German-invested enterprises in China, and Taicang city has become the most centralized area of Chinese German-invested enterprises.

According to the introduction of the department of foreign trade& economic cooperation of Taicang, Taicang German-invested enterprises are principal industries involved in precision machinery process, auto parts manufacturing and new building materials with features of less land occupation and high science and technology content.
